The Rising Industry Professional Awards recognizes young industry professionals who have worked in the Nashville entertainment industry for a minimum of 2 years and no more than 10 years in their current field of expertise. They are young leaders who have shown excellence in their present and previous positions and who show great promise for their future in the entertainment business.

Nominees are submitted by their employers or peers, and will be narrowed down to 10 Nominees by the NATD Board and then honored at The Rising Industry Professional Awards, to be held in May.

Pertinent dates:

Now through Feb. 21, 2020: Nominations accepted
Late February: NATD Board will select Top 10 Nominees
Mid-March: Top 10 Nominees announced
May: Rising Industry Professional Awards Ceremony
June through July 1: NATD Membership votes on Top Rising Professional of the Year
August: Top Rising Professional of the Year winner announced
November: Top Rising Professional of the Year honored at the annual NATD Honors Gala
